CPI Investigative Supervisor I

The CPI Supervisor is a senior-level position responsible for providing consultative services, technical assistance, and supervision to administrative staff and caseworkers within the CPI Division. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and make critical decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise a team of caseworkers and administrative staff to ensure timely and effective case management and investigation.
- Provide case consultations and monitor the status of cases within the unit to identify trends and patterns related to risk and child safety issues.
- Develop and implement solutions and improvements to address child safety issues and ensure the best outcome for families.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise and guidance on child welfare practices and policies.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations related to child protective services.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make critical decisions.
- Experience in child protective services or a related field.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to child protective services.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
This position requires regular on-call duties, including holidays and weekends, to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Education and Experience:A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in child protective services or a related field.
