Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive system verification assessments of newly developed or modified hematology analyzers with minimal oversight, ensuring compliance with established protocols and timelines.
  • Perform testing procedures that encompass customer workflows, Quality Control, Calibration, and the analysis of whole blood samples.
  • Guarantee that products fulfill all specified requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with Software and Engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve product performance issues, addressing specific customer application inquiries.
  • Utilize statistical methods to analyze and interpret technical data, ensuring timely reporting and documentation of any issues.
  • Accurately prepare and document testing procedures, execution, and results in line with departmental guidelines.
  • Develop presentations and actively participate in design review meetings.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and policies within the laboratory environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or
  • Master of Science (M.S.) degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of experience.

Certifications:
Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP/AMT preferred).

Experience Requirements:
  • Familiarity with general laboratory workflows.
  • Experience in hematology, including CBC, 5 Part Differential, flagging, and result review.
  • Ability to execute and review decision rules along with reflex and rerun test orders.
  • Proficient in LIS test order processing, review, and result release.
  • Understanding of basic laboratory statistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); knowledge of Data Analysis software such as JMP is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated skills in technical writing and presentation, along with strong communication abilities.

  • Day shifts
  • Monday to Friday
