Job Summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join one of our trusted school districts in Wayne, Michigan for the 2024-2025 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to students, including assessment, intervention, and consultation. Job Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological services to students, including assessment, intervention, and consultation.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student learning and well-being.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations.
  • Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
