Silicon Validation Engineer, Data Converter Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Mixed Signal IP Silicon Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team at Apple. As a member of our group, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple's customers every day.
Key Responsibilities- Perform lab characterization and validation of various analog & mixed signal embedded circuits
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to launch innovative mobile SoC's
- Bench test, debug, and characterization of embedded on-chip circuitry involving Data Converters and Filters
- Develop and execute scripts to automate tests, extract results, and generate reports using database and analytical tools
- Generate reports for characterization and/or debugging to provide design feedback
- In-system PI/SI measurements for correlation with simulation models
- Collaborate with other teams including Design, System HW, and SW
- Support ATE and Product Engineering
- Experience in AMS test development, including review of specification documents, drafting validation plans, building test benches, and performing data collection with automation
- Strong fundamental understanding of Data Converters, Filters, and FFT Transformation
- Experience in Cellular, WIFI, or BT system validation is a strong plus
- Proficient in lab instruments such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Pattern Generator, etc.
- Experienced in scripting language, Python preferred, to automate test and analyze data
- Detail-oriented and emphasis on quality of results
- Initiative in taking ownership and responsibility to drive deliverables
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hands-on lab experience including soldering/instrumenting systems is a plus
