About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Foundry Interface Engineer to join our Silicon Engineering group at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in collaborating with design teams and providing technology support to drive the development of state-of-the-art ASICs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage technical process collaboration with foundries to ensure seamless product development and tape out.
  • Provide support for product development, debug, and silicon process and product issues.
  • Work closely with foundries to drive improvements in PDK documentation, LVS, DRM/DRC, Spice models, and tech files.
  • Participate in technology development, device engineering for PMIC/analog next-generation process technologies.
  • Support new product introduction from design concept through production release.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor process technology and manufacturing.
  • Direct experience in PMIC or analog technology development programs is desired.
  • Deep knowledge of CMOS and BCDMOS technologies, particularly in the field of Analog design.
  • Experience leading engineering teams is a plus.
  • Experience supporting designs with significant digital content is desired.
  • Experience working with PDKs and collateral, such as Spice models, DRM/DRC, LVS, RC tech files, is critical.
  • Experience collaborating with design (analog, power & digital) in a positive manner is a key requirement.
  • Experience with process qualification and yield enhancement is a plus.
  • Familiarity with reliability mechanisms and device safe operating areas is a plus.
  • Good data analysis, problem-solving, and very strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Self-motivation and pragmatic execution of tasks is essential.
