Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and provide recreational activities for mental health patients
- Evaluate patient needs and determine appropriate recreational activities
- Assess patient interests and encourage participation in leisure-time activities
- Arrange for patients to participate in community diversional and social activities
- Observe and record patients' reactions and evaluate patient programs
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field
- Experience in providing therapeutic recreational activities for individuals in a clinical, detention center, residential, or community-based setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
