About the Position

The Riverside County Office on Aging is seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for developing and implementing nutrition programs and services for older adults in our community. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement nutrition programs and services for older adults
* Conduct nutritional assessments and provide individualized counseling
* Collaborate with community partners to promote healthy eating habits and nutrition education
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with health professionals, community organizations, and program participants

Requirements

* Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
* Current registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
* 1+ year of experience in nutrition education and individual counseling services
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
