We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Service Specialist to join our team at Integrated Power Services. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing service, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on various electro-mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Work Safely and Effectively: Work safely alone and as part of a team, adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
- Contribute to a Strong Team Environment: Effectively contribute to a strong team environment through assisting teammates in accomplishing mutual goals.
- Inspect and Test Equipment: Inspect and test various electro-mechanical equipment, including electrical tests using portable electronic equipment.
- Perform Repairs and Maintenance: Perform electrical tests, install/remove AC and DC electric motors, laser align equipment, and perform other repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure a Professional Environment: Ensure a professional environment utilizing customer-facing skills and complete assigned work in compliance with operative policies and procedures.
- PdMA Testing Experience: PdMA testing experience preferred.
- Level I Vibration Analysis: Level I Vibration Analysis preferred.
- AC/DC Motor Experience: 2+ years of AC/DC motor experience.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise execution.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work procedures, and apply strong analytical problem-solving dynamics in a continuous improvement environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong customer focus with professional communication and ability to collaborate with team members.
- Availability: Available and willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as required, willingness to be on call.
- Math Skills: Ability to perform math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, including understanding fractions and percentages.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
- Travel: Ability to travel locally and overnight.
