**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare for each day's appointments by reviewing schedules, pre-printing necessary documents, and reviewing insurance benefits.
  • Perform check-in and check-out functions for daily appointments, ensuring accurate collection of patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Accept patient payments, issue receipts, and handle petty cash as necessary.
  • Ensure patient charts contain complete and accurate demographic and insurance information.
  • Assist with department emails and answer registration hotline.
  • Review and/or provide various reports per department needs.
  • Answer department phone and return patient calls.
  • Assist patients/caregivers with various needs and answer questions.
  • Distribute questionnaires to patients as required.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with computers, EHR, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Professional telephone etiquette and solid communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently.
