Taco is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties in the assembly and packaging of our products with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Work from drawings, specifications, travel tickets, and weekly production schedules to ensure accurate assembly and packaging.
- Use a variety of tools, including protractors, squares, rulers, power wrenches, and hand drills, to complete assembly operations.
- Check weekly production sheets for units to be processed and study drawings and specifications to perform prescribed assembly operations.
- Use hydrostatic test equipment to check completed units prior to quality control and inspection.
- Perform basic maintenance work as needed and monitor the quality of work, making corrective adjustments as necessary.
- Use material handling equipment to move heavy materials and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of manufacturing experience, preferably in a fabrication environment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and effectively apply to assigned work.
- Ability to navigate multiple windows in our Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system to access production and resource data.
- Ability to perform repetitive work requiring constant alertness or activity, including standing and lifting.
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet strict time deadlines and production volumes.
