Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at V2X. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement enterprise-grade IT solutions across multi-platform information systems
  • Provide system engineering knowledge, skills, and best practices to implement modem and Next Generation (NexGen) IT solutions
  • Support the System Engineering (SE) responsibilities of the SEAS group
  • Provide consulting services and escalated tiered support to the Activity's Enterprise IT O&M teams
  • Provide mentorship and on-the-job training (OJT) to junior and/or lesser experienced personnel
Requirements:
  • 7 or more years of progressive experience in systems engineering
  • 5 or more years of experience designing, engineering, implementing, and maintaining solutions in secure processing environments
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging and providing system engineering within an established System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) program
  • Demonstrated experience in capturing, analyzing, and decomposing stakeholder and/or product requirements
  • Demonstrated experience performing advanced troubleshooting techniques
  • U.S. citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance, with a CI Poly preferred
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong level of knowledge and demonstrated technical experience working with Microsoft-based OSs and enterprise-grade applications and services
  • Demonstrated technical experience working with newer core Microsoft technologies
  • Demonstrated experience working with *nix-based OSs such as KVM, Nutanix Acropolis, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu LTS, and VMware vSphere ESXi
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging modern scripting languages such as Microsoft PowerShell and/or Python
