Chicago Magnesium Casting Co. is seeking a skilled and reliable Class C Driver to transport goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a Class C vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transport goods and materials to various locations, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
Requirements:
- A valid Class C driver's license to operate the vehicle.
- A clean motor vehicle report.
- Pass a Federal DOT Level Drug Screening and physical.
- Able to operate stand-up forklift & material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift more than 80 lbs.
- Ability to use handheld technology.
Experience:
- A minimum of 6 months of commercial vehicle driving experience.
Salary: $29.00/hr BOE
