About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Residential Solar Sales Professional to join our team at Campbell Companies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and selling residential solar and energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate homeowners about the benefits of solar energy and energy storage solutions
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Conduct sales meetings with customers to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Proactively manage accounts and identify opportunities to sell energy storage options to existing customers
  • Build and present proposals to meet the energy needs of customers
  • Effectively schedule and prioritize daily work activities to meet sales targets
  • Supply management with regular reports on customer needs, market trends, and potential new business opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies
  • Continuously improve sales skills and knowledge through feedback and training
Requirements
  • Must be able to work safely and promote a culture of accident prevention
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Ability to travel as required to meet sales targets and expand territory
  • Proven success in developing, quoting, and selling projects or products
  • Excellent interpersonal, selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to present and sell in a professional manner
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Ability to manage and grow a territory through cold calling and prospecting efforts
  • Excellent prioritizing, follow-up, time management, and organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs
  • Openness to feedback and continuous learning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of renewable energy equipment, including solar PV, battery energy storage, and controls
  • Knowledge of federal and local renewable energy policy and markets
  • Experience with design tools, such as Helioscope, Homer, and PVSyst
  • Effective CRM usage
