We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Mobile Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

About the Job

This travel opportunity is located in Hamilton, Texas, and offers an estimated salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location. You will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts, and enjoy a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

As a Rad Tech, your primary responsibility will be to operate diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and clear images for medical interpretation. You will also prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing, confirming patient identification, reviewing imaging requests, and explaining procedures to patients as needed.

  • Your tasks will include positioning patients correctly, adjusting imaging equipment, preventing unnecessary radiation exposure, calibrating equipment, preparing results for physicians, and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • You should have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology to perform these tasks effectively.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
  • ARRT (R) National Certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • The ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
