Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in our healthcare team, working closely with physicians and other medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences and supporting the mission and values of WakeMed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a physician, performing specific services to meet the personal needs and comforts of patients.
• Work interdependently with other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Support the mission and values of WakeMed by providing outstanding care and service to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.

Requirements:
• 2 Years Clinical - Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Graduate Medical Assisting preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant required within 24 months of hire.

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8-4:30, with some Saturdays required.
