Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic exams using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and verification of physician orders
  • Acquire and document patient history and medical information
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and maintain quality control standards
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Contribute to the effective operation of the department and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire date
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers from The American Heart Association and/or The American Red Cross
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent standing, walking, and simple manipulative skills. The employee may be exposed to ionizing radiation, hazardous materials, and loud noises.
