Job Title: Coordinator, Communications

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our communications efforts. As a Coordinator, Communications, you'll provide administrative support, maintain press contact databases, and prepare internal and external correspondence. You'll also assist in meeting preparation, including creating presentations and reports outlining key objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the EVP, Global Communications and Marketing, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
  • Maintain and update press contact databases and business contacts.
  • Prepare internal and external correspondence, including reports, agendas, and presentations.
  • Assist in meeting preparation, including creating presentations and reports outlining key objectives.
  • Handle office administrative duties, including scheduling IT, ordering office supplies, and coordinating drive-ons with security.
  • Support the Communications team on series campaigns and events as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of public relations or entertainment industry experience, including internships.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of PR coverage tools, including Releasd, Muck Rack, Critical Mention, and Cision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Superior organization and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating multiple assignments and projects.
  • Excellent writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive, highly resourceful, and a problem solver with strong external and internal communications skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.
What We Offer

NBCUniversal offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $60,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.

This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits and is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
