Job Summary

Cascadia Village Operations LLC is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in accordance with established portion control procedures.
  • Inspect diet trays and work with the facility dietician to ensure accurate and timely delivery of meals.
  • Coordinate food service with other departments to ensure seamless execution of meal service.
  • Ensure that food and supplies are readily available for the next meal.
  • Review and maintain menus to ensure they meet the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Assist in serving meals as needed and on a timely basis.
  • Complete ongoing training as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in assisted living or other related healthcare communities preferred.
  • Must have or obtain a food handlers' card within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
  • Knowledge of food preparation procedures and sanitation and food safety rules.
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred, but not required.
