**Job Description**

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Ahmc Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring the financial viability of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure the financial sustainability of the hospital.
  • Manage the financial affairs of the hospital, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Oversee the finance department, including financial planning, accounting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve the financial performance of the hospital.
  • Collaborate with senior management to evaluate product line profitability and implement procedures to maximize financial results.
  • Develop and implement operational indicators to monitor compliance with government regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to set organizational goals and develop strategic plans for organizational improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer in a hospital setting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an executive management position.
  • Strong accounting background and knowledge of financial accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external resources.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and lead projects meeting objectives within defined timelines.
  • Ability to manage resources within budgetary guidelines.

Education/Certification/License:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required.
  • CPA/MBA preferred.
