At Canadian Solar, we are seeking a highly skilled Material Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for managing production materials to drive continuous improvement in material inventory accuracy, consumption rates, scrap rates, and repair rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the production department to ensure accurate material control, consumption, repair, and scrap.
  • Take leadership with material teams to support production and minimize losses caused by line shut down.
  • Assist in organizing and leading periodic inventory count and cycle count activities for materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with production/material control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete the above responsibilities.
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, confidentially, diplomatically, and professionally.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Analytical and time management skills.
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Office, experience with enterprise ERP/SAP system or other software.
