Job Summary

Piper Aircraft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Liaison Engineer to assume leadership responsibilities for Liaison and other Liaison support personnel associated with the resolution of Airframe Design issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to Liaison and other Liaison support personnel as required.
  • Verify documents generated by Liaison and Liaison support personnel to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Establish and maintain effective interfaces between Technical and Production departments.
  • Assist in establishing requirements and priorities for corrective action issues.
  • Coordinate procurement of new inventory items to support engineering projects.
  • Provide MBR coverage for Production and Quality Assurance departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Contribute to the development of Service publications and technical documentation.
  • Maintain drawing revisions in accordance with drafting room manual to ensure compliance.
  • Generate Engineering Orders (EO) and new specifications to support engineering projects.
  • Review and prepare major structural repairs to ensure safety and quality standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to new or other Technical personnel performing Liaison functions.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by management to support the team's objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of seven years related general aviation experience.
  • Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all company disciplines.
