Job Summary

The Banquet Server is a key member of our hospitality team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests at all banquet functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and serve food and beverages to guests according to hotel standards
  • Prepare and maintain the banquet storeroom, ensuring all necessary supplies are available
  • Clean up banquet space after functions, storing equipment and supplies properly
  • Prepare rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and meal functions
  • Follow all money handling procedures when serving guests
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, with medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
