Burns & McDonnell is seeking a highly experienced Senior Transportation Planning Manager to lead our transportation planning efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering transportation planning projects, including corridor concept development, bicycle and pedestrian improvement development, multi-modal transportation analyses, traffic analyses, community planning efforts, zoning code development, and public outreach and transit evaluation.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Lead analysis and planning activities for small to large-scale projects

• Quality review written reports and deliverables

• Manage relationships with clients, customers, and contractors

• Develop new business opportunities and ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met

• Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the department

• Manage sales and marketing efforts, identify, and manage key pursuits

• Manage the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance

• Quality review and approve project budgets and cost estimates. Report project performance

• Ensure adherence to QA/QC processes and company safety policies

• Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Planning or related field

• Minimum of 8 years experience in planning

• AICP registration preferred

• Advanced oral and written communication skills

• Strong knowledge of ESRI GIS applications preferred

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Professional Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills

• Advanced attention to detail
