About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Coder to join our team at TEKsystems, a leading provider of Full-Stack Technology Services and Talent Solutions. As an Inpatient Coder, you will play a critical role in transforming healthcare by ensuring accurate coding and reimbursement for hospital services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Login to work queues and apply codes accurately and efficiently
  • Defend audits and queries to ensure data integrity
  • Write effective queries to gather additional information from physicians
  • Review and question CDI queries as needed
  • Work with EMR systems, including EPIC and 3M encoders

Requirements:

  • High acuity experience
  • Trauma experience
  • Rehab and LTAC experience
  • Inpatient audit experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Academic hospital experience
  • Coding experience with CCS, DRG, PCS
