Job Description

Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Surveyor to join our Survey Group in Wilmington, NC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the successful management of assigned projects and client accounts.
  • Marketing and Client Development: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, and identify opportunities to cross-sell Timmons Group services.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare and negotiate proposals, and manage client communications.
  • Technical Quality and Profitability: Ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain profitability for assigned projects.
  • Schedule and Project Staff Coordination: Coordinate project schedules and staff to meet client needs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, engineering, or a scientific area, or equivalent work experience and professional registration (L.S., P.E., etc.) in one or more states where Timmons Group conducts business.
  • Experience: 6+ years of land surveying experience, with working knowledge of Civil 3D, MicroStation, Leica, Trimble, and GPS/RTK technology.
  • Skills: Strong project management and technical skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership: Experience in client development and supervision of technical work, with ability to lead and motivate a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Laser Scanning Technology: Working knowledge and experience using laser scanning technology.
  • Machine Control Models: Experience creating machine control models.
