Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the complete estimating workflow, from bid requests to comprehensive cost evaluations.
  • Conducting detailed reviews of project blueprints, specifications, and work scope to fully grasp project demands.
  • Creating precise cost projections for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Recognizing potential risks and formulating contingency strategies to address them.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with subcontractors, obtaining bids, and negotiating contracts.
  • Providing mentorship to junior estimators and offering insights on effective estimating practices.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Forwarding and Clearing

A Bachelor's degree in fields such as civil engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or a related area.

Certifications:
While not mandatory, credentials such as Quantity Surveyor (QS) or Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) can enhance professional credibility.
