Executive Vice President of Mortgage Escrow Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Vice President of Mortgage Escrow Operations to join our team at Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Escrow Tax and Insurance team, ensuring effective management of the tax section of the department.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee and mentor staff to ensure compliance with mortgage servicing regulations and laws, as well as organizational policies.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement measurements and controls to ensure efficient operations, productivity, and quality service to clients.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal departments, external insurance agents and companies, PMI companies, vendors, clients, and mortgagors.
- Performance Management: Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and make recommendations for promotions, advancements, or changes in status.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports to senior management, analyzing trends and making recommendations for improvement.
- Experience: 6+ years in mortgage servicing, title services, financial services, or similar industries.
- Management Experience: 5+ years of management and operations experience.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of mortgage tax and insurance compliance and regulations, solid PC skills, and proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to handle complex tasks, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Industry Experience: 5-10 years of mortgage servicing experience related to Escrow.
- Management Background: 5+ years of management experience in the financial services/mortgage industry.
The employee is regularly required to communicate through multiple methods of communication and frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to type, write, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch, or lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. The noise level is usually moderate and typical of an office environment.
