We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead Software Developer to join our team at inSync Staffing. This is a unique opportunity to work with a large, complex GitHub environment and contribute to the development of automation for administration and governance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on large enterprise scale projects, with expertise in developer platforms, CI/CD, and GitHub. They will be responsible for designing and building automation to manage the developer experience, implementing security controls, and building self-service tooling.

This role requires strong technical leadership skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Help administer the GitHub environment for thousands of software developers
  • Design and build automation to manage the developer experience, implement security controls, and build self-service tooling
  • Use GitHub's API for automating tasks and integrate with other systems
  • Help develop and enforce best practices for securing code and maintaining privacy in repositories
  • Provide training and support to engineers and create clear documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in the day-to-day management of the organization's GitHub environment

We are looking for an experienced software engineer who has worked on large enterprise scale projects and has experience with developer platforms, CI/CD, and GitHub. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, with 4+ years of professional experience as a computer software programmer, and 2+ years of professional experience as a senior member of a software team.

Additional desired skills include knowledge of computer security and privacy, user identity, permissions, and SSO, experience using and building GraphQL and REST APIs, software testing frameworks and test automation, familiarity with Docker and containerization, and experience with AWS cloud computing, including EC2, S3, load balancers, Lambdas, and IAM security.
