Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist-Clinical Staff PRN I to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care.

Responsibilities
  • Manage medication orders, ensuring medication safety and age-specific considerations.
  • Participate in pharmacotherapeutic plan processes and contribute to goals, programs, and report cards for the unit/department/hospital.
  • Supervise and direct healthcare team members, process and prepare sterile products for dispensing, and provide drug information and education.
  • Participate actively on inter and intra-departmental committees and maximize safety and efficiency through appropriate use of automation.
  • Complete assigned goals and maintain a high level of professionalism and expertise.
Requirements
  • Minimum: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) degree.
  • Preferred: One year of hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Minimum: PHARMACIST-FOR APPROPRIATE STATE licensure.
  • Preferred: Advanced computer order entry literacy, Microsoft Office applications, clinical experience, and BLS and/or ACLS certification.
