Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to fill a permanent position in Whitefish Bay, WI. With Advocate Aurora Health, you'll be part of a team that prioritizes excellence and compassion.

Job Description
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surgical areas for optimal patient care by maintaining aseptic conditions, utilizing sterile equipment and materials, and ensuring a clean environment.
  • Assist surgeons during procedures, passing instruments and supplies while anticipating their needs.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by operating various types of equipment, transporting patients and supplies, and reporting any issues or concerns.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of different surgical procedures, adapting to new techniques and technologies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of employment.
  • No prior experience required, but preference given to candidates with relevant training or certification.
