About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our surgical department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operating room environment, adhering to strict aseptic techniques.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, providing exceptional support and expertise.
  • Operate various types of equipment, including tables, cameras, microscopes, and fracture tables.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program.
  • Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified First Assistant (CFA).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
