We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Kennel Attendant to join our team at Brooklyn Veterinary Clinic and Paws Pet Resort in Castle Rock, CO.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise of boarding and hospitalized pets
  • Monitor pets' status, reporting any signs of stress or changes in eating or elimination habits to technicians and veterinarians
  • Document accurate records and complete boarding forms and cage cards
  • Perform cleaning and disinfection tasks, including kennel areas, food and water bowls, and litter boxes
  • Administer medications and provide medical care as needed
  • Supervise animals in the yard and provide 'TLC' play times or walks for clients
  • Check-in and check-out animals for boarding, communicating with owners and recording information on boarding forms
Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, as well as manipulate up to 50 pounds
  • Endurance to sit, stand, and walk on hard floor surfaces for extended periods
  • Confidence around pets and ability to work in noisy conditions
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills
