About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Medical City Arlington. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic images to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform magnetic resonance assessments and reassessments, implementing patient orders accurately.
- Position and prepare patients for exams according to procedure type.
- Assist with transporting patients as needed.
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance.
- Operate stationary equipment and/or portable equipment used in the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and at the patient bedside.
Requirements
- Current License as an MRI Tech by ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) required.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician.
- Vocational School Graduate.
- Experience in performing all MRI procedures.
- Two (2) years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
