Position Overview:
Join our dedicated team at Solis Mammography as a Mobile Mammography Specialist. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your professional journey while providing essential services in breast health.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mobile Mammography Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting diagnostic and screening mammograms as prescribed.
  • Preparing and assisting the Radiologist during complex mammography procedures, including breast biopsies.
  • Educating patients about the examination process and the importance of regular mammography for preventive breast health.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and radiation safety measures under the guidance of the Radiology supervisor or Radiologist.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • A minimum of one year of full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist, with documented clinical experience in 3D imaging.
  • A valid state radiology registration and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.

Continuing Education:
You will be required to maintain MQSA/FDA compliance by completing 15 CEUs every three years and documenting 200 case numbers every two years.

Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in using database software and imaging systems.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and team members.
  • The ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain a patient-first focus.
  • Excellent mammography positioning and exposure techniques.
