Medical Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary
Community Health Network is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders by performing various laboratory tests and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high complexity level testing in designated laboratory departments, including Blood Bank, Hematology, and Microbiology.
- Operate laboratory computer systems for functions authorized by security code access.
- Enter orders and results, distribute results, inquire of results, correct, revise, or update incomplete information.
- Perform moderate to high complexity level testing in designated laboratory sections under appropriate supervision.
- Maintain and keep current all required competencies for the hospital and the laboratory.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 year / Associate Degree (Preferred)
- 4 year / Associate Degree (Preferred)
