Position Overview:
As a key leader in the Fixed Income division, you will oversee the pricing and valuation of Fixed Income derivatives for a prominent Global Investment Bank.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Independent Price Verification (IPV) for Fixed Income instruments, focusing on credit, rates, and LATAM markets.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance and streamline existing processes, ensuring comprehensive documentation and management approval for parameter reviews.
  • Innovate and refine valuation methodologies, collaborating with local and global risk and financial control teams for validation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Front Office, Risk, and Research departments.
  • Effectively present IPV results to senior management, addressing ongoing challenges and concerns.
  • Drive the advancement of price verification processes by identifying risk-influencing instruments and evaluating alternative verification methods and sources. Critically assess and improve current methodologies.

    Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Finance.
  • Proven experience in valuation and Independent Price Verification within the financial services industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of Fixed Income instruments, including complex derivatives, swaptions, CDS, repos, loans, interest rate and currency swaps, bond options, corporate bonds, and LATAM financial products.
  • Understanding of options fundamentals, including pricing models, Greeks, and P&L implications.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including VBA, Excel, Python, and Power BI, with a strong ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies into existing processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong listening abilities.
  • Familiarity with best practices in derivative valuation control frameworks.
