The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled Laboratory Specialist to join its research team at the Center for Antibody Therapeutics lab. As a key member, you will perform routine lab work, including molecular subcloning, plasmids extraction, protein expression and purification, cell culture, viability assays, flow cytometry, ELISA, SPR, and protein biophysical property characterization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform various laboratory experiments such as histology, flow cytometry, molecular techniques, gene sequencing, and related technical functions.
  • Identify and prepare specimens, including isolation of human PBMCs from blood.
  • Oversee supply management: ordering, procurement, tracking estimates, and receiving items.
  • Operate and maintain applicable laboratory equipment.
  • Keep detailed, accurate, and timely data and log books.

We offer a competitive salary range of $17.74 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience. This full-time regular position requires a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in a related field.
