Job Summary

The Busser is a key member of our front-of-house team, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Busser, you will be responsible for cleaning and resetting tables, supporting servers and service staff, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and stock assigned work area by following established fine dining service standards and procedures
  • Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses
  • Clear and reset tables within established standard timings and guidelines
  • Assist in serving coffee, tea, water, bread, butter, and other food and beverage items
  • Assist servers with all aspects of service as required, while maintaining a professional and organized work area
  • Clean service stations, fill ice bins, and restock storage and fridge items according to established par levels
  • Complete all side duties as assigned
  • Assist with set up and breakdown of dining room facilities, retrieving china, silver, glassware, and other stewarding items from the stewarding area
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of busser experience
  • Excellent knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
  • Self-motivated and customer service-oriented
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Working Conditions

The Busser will work in an indoor front-of-house environment, with exposure to heat from ovens, hot foods, and steamers, as well as cleaning chemicals and equipment. The noise level in the work environment is moderate, but may be loud dependent on specific work site and/or equipment operation.
