Job Title: Regional Petroleum CDL A Tanker Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Regional Petroleum CDL A Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at Wynne Transport Service, Inc. in Omaha, NE. As a Regional Petroleum CDL A Tanker Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling chemical hazmat products around the Des Moines, IA area.

Job Details:
  • Compensation: Up to $0.68 per practical mile (loaded and empty + supplemental pay) or Median $1,650 Per Week.
  • Owner Operator: 70% of linehaul/accessorial charges and 100% of Fuel Surcharge or Median $5,200 Per Week to the Truck.
Requirements:
  • Single Hull Stainless Steel Tanker Trailer: You will be operating a single hull stainless steel tanker trailer.
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement: You must have a valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsement on your CDL.
  • Operating Radius: You will be operating within a 1,000 or 1,500-mile radius of your home.
Home Time:
  • On the Road: You will be on the road for 1-2 days followed by 10-12 hours at home.
  • Additional Home Time: Every 7 days, you will have an additional 1.5 days of home time (34-hour reset).

Core Responsibilities:
  • Availability: You must be available for work at all times to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Customer Paperwork: You must submit customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
  • Vehicle Inspection: You must inspect your vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
  • Driver's Log: You must maintain a driver's log by DOT regulations.
