We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at Wynne Transport Service, Inc. As a Tanker Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling petroleum products in and around Des Moines, Iowa.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive a tanker trailer to transport petroleum products safely and efficiently.
- Submit customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
- Inspect vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
- Maintain a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
- Class A CDL without certain restrictions.
- Clean motor vehicle license.
- 2 years of recent driving experience preferred.
- 12 months of tractor trailer experience in the last 5 years.
- Experience must be with a 36 ft. trailer minimum.
- TWIC must be obtained by OTR drivers.
- Must have a valid DOT medical card.
- Pass a urine drug test.
- English proficiency is required.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
