About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Agronomist to join our team at Corteva Agriscience. As a key member of our Brevant Seeds brand, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with retailer sellers, providing product training and support, and driving demand creation and team-selling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account-level strategies with retail sellers, collaborating with the Retail Business Manager to drive business growth.
  • Provide product training and support to retail sellers, leveraging various media forms to ensure they have the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the retail seller's business needs and develop solutions to drive business forward.
  • Drive the retail seller's ability to demonstrate value beyond products, creating product demand and driving business growth.
  • Core responsibilities include sales execution, demand planning, inventory ownership, plot strategy, agronomy meetings, and in-field trainings, combined with providing industry-leading support regarding Brevant products to key retail sellers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of agronomy and sales experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong agronomy skillset, selling tactics, negotiation skills, and influence.
  • Understanding of Agronomy and Crop Production practices.
  • Ability to pass a driving record background check.
