Sovana Global Logistics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Domestic Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operating tasks of new and existing business to ensure seamless freight movement within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate directly with customers to plan shipments from start to finish, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Arrange road and air domestic pickups, issue Bill of Lading, and track shipments.
  • Quoting various modes of transportation based on customer needs.
  • Coordinating shipments with customers and booking with carriers.
  • Negotiating rates with carriers.
  • Tracking shipments and updating customers.
  • Learning and understanding trucking markets.
  • Maintain strong communication with customers and build customer relationships.
  • Complete accurate profit and loss analysis for each shipment.
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure proper movements of shipments.
  • Responding to customer inquiries (quoting domestic shipments, tracking, and tracing updates).
  • Preparing BOLs and invoices in Magaya Cargo System for movement of freight.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work on a team and assist team members when needed.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize daily tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • FTL / LTL experience 2-3 years.
  • Minimum 2 years working in customer service and documentation related to freight forwarder.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve problems when they arise.
  • Experience using Magaya Cargo System is a plus.
