Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Architecture Strategy
    • Develop and maintain a cloud services architecture that aligns with business objectives.
    • Provide input on decisions related to new virtual cloud equipment and upgrades.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management
    • Develop and track budgets for new and existing cloud infrastructure.
    • Manage and report availability of cloud services across the entire cloud server ecosystem.
  • Incident Resolution
    • Participate in incident troubleshooting sessions to resolve cloud services-related incidents.
    • Develop and implement post-mortems to improve cloud environment availability and performance.
  • Cloud Standards and Governance
    • Develop and maintain standards for cloud services.
    • Support and maintain a scalable backup solution for virtualized and standalone cloud environments.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience
    • 7+ years in information technology with a minimum of 3+ years in an IT architectural role.
    • 5+ years in application/solution development experience in a professional environment.
    • 3+ years of experience in designing and maintaining cloud services technologies such as Azure, AWS, etc.
  • Skills
    • Fluent in English, oral and written.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to translate technology terms into business terms.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to adjust schedule to meet business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud Certifications
    • Cloud solutions architect certification is a plus.
  • IT Architecture Certifications
    • TOGAF certification is a plus.
