Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Consultant to join our primary care team at Carolina Health Centers, Inc.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and professional licensure in South Carolina (LMSW, LISW-CP, LPC-A, LPC, LPCS, LMFT-A, or LMFT).

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Consultant will:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and brief interventions for patients across the lifespan.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers to recognize, treat, and manage behavioral health concerns.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions and provide same-day warm handoffs as well as real-time consultation.
  • Conduct follow-up appointments and/or ongoing therapy with patients, as appropriate.
Requirements

This position requires strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with electronic medical records.

Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
