Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments to residents, and document appropriately on assigned nursing units.
- Report findings of ongoing observations/assessments to the designated Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and/or Unit Manager.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic test/lab collection values, deliver direct resident care consistent with policies/procedures and Resident Bill of Rights, in combination with demonstrated clinical skills/knowledge.
- Identify and respond timely to patient concerns/needs.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills necessary to ensure appropriate quality patient care.
- Prepare resident assignments considering the category of needs of the patient and competency of personnel, monitor/evaluate the flow of activity and delivery of patient care provided (positioning, bathing, etc.) and assure documentation records (ADLs, meal intake, etc.) are completed for CNAs.
- Be punctual and/or provide proper notification for lateness or absenteeism.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Licensed and registered in good standing in New York State as an Registered Nurse.
- Experience with geriatric patients is desirable, but not required.
- Sincere desire to work with the elderly, chronically ill, and disabled.
- Possess a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and growth.
- Knowledge of medical, social, and psychological needs of residents, general nursing theory and practice, and infection prevention principles/methods.
- Ability to communicate well verbally with residents, families, and staff.
