Job Summary:

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is a national distributor of quality maintenance products. We are seeking a skilled Material Handler III to join our team at our Arlington, Texas Distribution Center.

As a Material Handler III, you will be responsible for packaging inbound material, including assortment kit assembly using package labeling systems and printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical staplers, and shrink wrapping. You will also document packaging activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry, pick orders using powered industrial equipment, and conduct cart put away and restock picking.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma/GED equivalent and one year of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations. You will have average math skills and effective reading and writing skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail and accuracy. You must be able to spend most of your time standing and walking in a warehouse environment and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Package inbound material, including assortment kit assembly using package labeling systems and printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical staplers, and shrink wrapping.
Document packaging activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry.
Pick orders using powered industrial equipment.
Conduct cart put away and restock picking.
Assist with inventory cycle counts on powered industrial equipment and partner with Quality Control personnel to ensure only authorized, quality goods are packed into stock.

Requirements:

High School diploma/GED equivalent.
One year of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations.
Average math skills and effective reading and writing skills.
Problem-solving ability and attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to spend most of the time standing and walking in a warehouse environment and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
