Job Summary

Adecco Staffing is partnering with a leading manufacturing facility to recruit a skilled CNC Machinist for a temporary to permanent opportunity on 2nd shift. This role involves operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality machined parts while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate advanced CNC machines, including setup and maintenance
  • Load raw materials and unload completed parts
  • Manage multiple machines simultaneously
  • Select and adjust tooling and work offsets
  • Troubleshoot programs and perform editing
  • Develop basic programs and perform inspections
  • Ensure dimensional tolerances, quality, and accuracy of parts
  • Run and setup all machines in the department
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Use measurement tools and QMS, MAX, and SPC databases
  • Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively
Requirements
  • Experience with Swiss Citizen CNC machines preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, and basic math
  • Functional knowledge of measuring instruments and troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced understanding of CNC programming language and machining practices
  • High school degree or equivalent and advanced manufacturing/machining training or certification
