Job Summary

Adecco Staffing is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at a high-level manufacturing facility in New England. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate advanced CNC machines, including Swiss Citizen machines, to produce high-quality machined parts.
  • Set up and load raw materials, and unload completed parts, ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Monitor and adjust tooling and work offsets to maintain quality and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot current programs and perform significant editing of current programs.
  • Develop basic programs and perform inspections on own work and co-workers' work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve continuous improvement in processes, productivity, quality, and safety.
Requirements
  • Experience with Swiss Citizen CNC machines preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, and basic math.
  • Functional knowledge of measuring instruments and good troubleshooting skills.
  • Advanced understanding of CNC programming language and machining practices.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; advanced manufacturing/machining training and/or certification or 3+ years manufacturing & machining experience preferred.
