We are partnering with a leading Aerospace & Defense organization to seek a skilled Quality Control Specialist for their team based in Milwaukee, WI.

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring conformance to ASA-100 and AS 9120 requirements and standards under the guidance of the quality department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the upkeep of Quality Manuals and associated documentation
  • Collaborate with the quality department to maintain accurate records, including personal training diaries and vendor claims
  • Assist in conducting Vendor Quality Surveys/Audits to obtain vendor approval
  • Ensure unit acceptance and release by addressing any difficulties that arise
  • Support the quality department in tracking approved vendors and their quality records
  • Maintain required publications up-to-date
  • Prepare monthly reports for the quality department
  • As assigned by the DOQ, manage corporate records
  • Additional tasks related to the Quality System's upkeep as necessary

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of the quality system and prior experience

  • Pentagon Basics
  • Export & ITAR compliance
  • Aerospace Industry Quality Training (covering QMS, FAA 00 56, Traceability, 8130-3 documents, PAH's, ESD, Suspected Unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP's, AD's, ATA Spec 300, PMA Parts, Direct Ship Authority, Standard Terminology)
  • ESD handling
  • 90-Day Probation OJT

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $85,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on industry standards for similar positions in Milwaukee, WI. We strive to offer competitive compensation packages to attract top talent.
