Marketing Localization Program Manager

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Localization Program Manager to lead and manage the entire lifecycle of digital content localization projects. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in localization program management, preferably within a marketing environment, and a strong background in managing international and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop project plans, track milestones, manage resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, updates, and challenges.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure localization projects meet business needs and international standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize localization workflows.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in localization program management, preferably within a marketing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience using localization tools like SDL WorldServer or Smartling.
  • Strong background in managing international and cross-functional teams.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with multimedia localization and experience using project management tools such as Asana.
  • Highly proficient in spreadsheet tools for data tracking and analysis.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in at least two languages, ensuring cultural and linguistic nuances are well understood.

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to set expectations across international and US-based teams.
  • A results-oriented, can-do attitude that thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment.
